So I heard the internet is obsessed with graphic unisex ties. Let’s just take a minute to discuss how ironic this name is; I mean ties were born out of boredom. They were a staple of corporate slaves who had no other choice but to wear the damn thing because the dress code demanded them to. To make ties graphic would mean to bring them to a whole new ball game. Are you trying to tell me that while the world was busy with some unworldly stuff, someone made ties cool? From what I’ve seen so far these ties are every fashion lover’s dream. They are quirky and fun, with quick witted motifs, some with your favourite superheroes and some with witty caricatures. Ties which were earlier believed to be the monopoly of men (much like everything else in the world is believed to be by women hating Trump loving sexists) are now being pitched as a unisex accessory. Pleasant as that seems, I had my doubts about it. Because women don’t wear shirts as often as men do, my little mind had failed to comprehend that these ties were meant to be styled with more than just shirts. When I saw how spectacularly these graphic ties go with crop tops, dresses, off shoulders and pretty much everything else, that’s when I understood it. These statement ties are revolutionary and that is why everyone from celebrities to fashion bloggers are going crazy.
